
Leo Fulwell
Tenor · Choral Scholar, York Minster

Leo Fulwell is a tenor and choral scholar at York Minster, and a soloist in oratorio and sacred music across the north of England.Leo began his musical journey as a chorister at Blackburn Cathedral, before holding tenor choral scholarships at Hereford and Newcastle Cathedrals. Since September 2024 he has been a Choral Scholar at York Minster, where he sings eight services each week, performs in concerts and events, records CDs and tours internationally, with recent visits to France and Italy.A graduate in music from the University of York, Leo is now studying for a Master's in Solo Voice Ensemble Singing with Robert Hollingworth. He appears regularly as a soloist with choral societies and choirs, and his solo repertoire includes Bach's Mass in B Minor and St John Passion, Haydn's St Nicholas Mass, Nelson Mass and The Creation, and Stainer's Crucifixion.
